Fed up with OS X
I can’t take it anymore, OS X is driving me mad! It seems that with every update my computer slows 50%, and when your computer is already slow that makes up come percentage I can’t even calculate.
I know I’ve gone back and forth on the issue, but now that I don’t do video work like I use to I believe it’s time to fully go to Linux. The new version of Ubuntu should be released next month, so that may be the best time for the switch to occur.
My one hold back has always been flash, sad but true. You never realize how much flash is used on the internet until you can’t use it. Flash was never developed for Linux on the PPC chipset, which is what older Macs use. But there appear to be a few alternatives these days for us sad saps still using our old G4s.
Anyone out there use gnash? Does it play last.fm radios?
