Well we finished our Totally Pauly this morning about 1:30 am and I must say, I learned a lot. That Pauly Shore is a genius!

Okay, so may be not, but at least his movies were fun and entertaining on some level. Each of us had our own favorites and it was very cool to be able to experience the pain of watching bad movies together.

I went into this having only seen 2.5 of the 5 movies. Having now seen all 5 I believe I can now give my personal standings for this fine group of cinematic history.

1) Encino Man
2) Bio Dome
3) Son in Law
4) In the Army Now
5) Jury Duty

Overall this event was a success and hopefully the first in a new line of 5 movie nights with the guys from work.

Now that I’m running a dedicated Linux machine now I’ve now undertaken the task of installing everything that I feel I need to keep the same level of usefulness I had in OS X.

One thing I enjoy doing is watching dumb youtube videos. So tonight I went to the site to watch some videos, but instead got an error message telling me that I needed to install flash player. Luckily it included a link to the plug-in for my convenience, thanks youtube!

After clicking the link and downloading the Linux flash player plugin, I ran the install program, but no luck. The install script told me that my machine architecture (PPC) is incompatible. WEAK!

I’ve looked all over Google, but instead of finding solutions all I found were dopey computer geek complaining that the PPC architecture wasn’t supported by the flash player install. Those don’t help me.

I just thought of a great idea for a movie. I’ve written the basic story line out and will begin to flesh out a more detailed storyline now.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the video process, and I’m excited about this. It will be great fun to get this going and perhaps make an actual movie for people to enjoy.
